Robotic Mowers - Are they any good ?

Do you find cutting the grass too difficult, or too tedious. An Automower can fix that for you. Automowers take the strain out of cutting the lawn, giving you perfectly cut grass 24/7. No job too small, and with models capable of cutting 4 acres, rarely a job too large.

For large commercial jobs, Husqvarna manufacture an 18.5 acre automower.

Wired Boundary

We stock a wide range of wired Automowers. These run within a fixed boundary that is laid upon installation. The Automower cuts in a random pattern within this boundary providing an even cut throughout. By following these wires, the Automower will be able to find its way back to the charging station and automatically charge.

Wireless GPS Boundary

Wireless boundaries negate the need for a boundary wire. To set these up, the Automower is driven around the boundary of your garden using controls on an app, a reference station is needed, alongside a plug-in kit for the Automower. Benefits of wireless boundaries include; cable free operation, ability to change cutting areas easily, some Automowers can also cut in stripes. With the downsides being; inability to operate under heavy tree cover, higher initial cost – however in large areas, cable can actually cost more.

These can be found in Husqvarna models with the NERA (domestic) or EPOS (commercial) branding.
